Luke founded Chaac Ventures in March of 2015. Prior to founding Chaac, Luke was an associate and founding team member at Arrowroot Capital, a SaaS-focused growth equity firm based in Santa Monica, CA. Prior to Arrowroot, Luke was an associate at K1 Capital, a SaaS-focused growth equity fund based in Manhattan Beach, CA. Luke has held positions at BOLDstart Ventures, a tech venture capital firm in NYC, and Brown Advisory (BIA), a global asset management firm based in Baltimore, MD. At Princeton, Luke played on the men’s lacrosse team, where he was awarded the John T. Schroeder Class of 1992 Award during his senior year, which recognizes the one member of the team whose embodiment of character and selfless devotion has the greatest impact on the success of Princeton lacrosse.

John Harrobin is the former Chief Marketing Officer of Verizon. He served in various operational management and senior executive roles in a progressive career spanning 18 years and earned a reputation as a thought leader and strong executor. John was instrumental in Verizon Wireless’s rise to the top position in the wireless industry, forged strategic partnerships with Apple, Microsoft, and Google that shaped the mobile ecosystem, and transformed pricing, content, and distribution strategies for both Verizon Wireless and FiOS. John is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holds a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
Managing Partner, Chief Financial Officer
Andrew is an advisor to Chaac and oversees operations and finance. He is the Founder and CIO of Ekeko Capital Management, LLC, a derivatives trading firm. He was previously at Clearbrook Global Advisors, an institutional advisory firm that advises public and private pensions, endowments, foundations and family offices.
Tom is an Analyst at Chaac Ventures. Tom’s responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, sourcing new deals, and working with existing portfolio companies. In addition, Tom is a professional field lacrosse player for the Ohio Machine of Major League Lacrosse, was selected 1st overall in the 2014 Draft, and is currently the league's reigning MVP. In 2016, Tom was signed by the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League, a professional box lacrosse league primarily located in Canada. In addition to playing, Tom is the founder & director at Impact Lacrosse, a training venture focused on elite players all over North America. He currently helps Fields of Growth International, Uganda, which is a non-profit global leadership organization dedicated to the education and welfare of the developing world through lacrosse.
Ed is the founder of NYC-based BOLDstart Ventures and co-founder of Dawntreader Ventures. Ed has over 18 years of venture capital experience having led seed and first round investments in a number of high profile Internet and software companies.
Conor is an advisor at Chaac Ventures, and is also in angel investor in Chaac portfolio company Piper (a build-your-own Minecraft computer for kids). In his day job, he is a Technical Program Manager at Uber Technologies in San Francisco.
Kofi Frimpong is founder of BrandSlip.com, a social media influencer marketing company. He is based in Los Angeles and enjoys all things entrepreneurship, tech and venture capital.
Rob is the founder and CEO of Zarandea Tequila and is based in San Francisco. Prior to founding Zarandea, Rob was an operational consultant for AlixPartners, focusing on turnarounds and reorganizations., Rob was a member of two national championship lacrosse teams while at Princeton (1998, 2001).
Josh is currently VP and General Manager of NYC-based SinglePlatform. Previously, Josh was VP, General Manager for the digital business at Publishers Clearing House, growing their business unit from $20MM to $100MM+.
Travis is an advisor to Chaac portfolio companies and currently is Manager of Strategy and Operations at San Francisco-based Allbirds shoe company. Prior to Allbird, Travis worked for Chobani, the Greek yogurt company, as part of the team brought on by TPG Capital to support the effort to turnaround both operations and finance. Travis was a 4x member of the Princeton varsity men’s lacrosse team.
Jonathan Battat is an aerospace engineer at SpaceX, where he is preparing to put people into space. He previously worked on human spaceflight at a number of organizations, including assisting Buzz Aldrin and as a researcher at MIT supporting NASA’s strategic planning efforts.
James is an advisor to Chaac, as well as a Partner and Program Director of TigerLabs. He is also a Senior Associate at Beta Bridge Capital, a seed stage venture capital fund focused on emerging ecosystems. Prior to TigerLabs, James worked at Banyan Water as a business development associate.
